Director
Srinu
Vaitla's
latest
release
Aagadu
opened
to
humongous
response,
but
witnessed
downfall
in
its
business
over
the
weekend.
The
Mahesh
Babu
and
Tamanna
starrer
movie,
which
has
dropped
considerably
at
the
Box
Office
on
weekdays,
is
facing
a
big
threat
from
Gopichand's
Loukyam,
which
is
slated
to
release
on
September
26.
The
reason
is
that
it
has
Kona
Venkat
and
Gopi
Mohan's
script.
Kona
Venkat
and
Gopi
Mohan
are
among
the
most
successful
story-screenplay
writers
of
Tollywood.
They
have
worked
with
ace
filmmaker
Srinu
Vaitla
in
his
all
Blockbuster
movies
like
Dookudu,
Baadshah,
Namo
Venkatesa,
King,
Ready,
Dubai
Seenu,
Dhee
and
Venky.
They
parted
their
ways
with
the
director
following
their
rift
with
the
latter
on
the
sets
of
Junior
NTR's
Baadshah.
Srinu
Vaitla
did
the
movie
Aagadu
in
association
with
different
writers
and
the
movie
has
failed
to
meet
the
expectations
that
it
had
created
prior
its
release.
The
movie
was
criticised
for
its
bad
scripting.
Now,
the
attention
has
been
shifted
to
Gopi-Venkat-written
Loukyam.
Sources
from
the
production
team
boast
that
the
film
has
interesting
story
that
is
laced
with
all
the
commercial
ingredients
like
romance,
comedy
and
action.
On
Monday,
Gopi
Mohan
tweeted,
"Watched
Loukyam
1st
copy.Full
length
Comedy
with
a
touch
of
love
&
action.Gopi
Chand's
career
best
film
for
sure
:)
Gopichand
&
Rakul
Preeth
scenes
in
first
half
are
so
good.Rakul
will
get
stardom
after
this
film.Brahmanandam
gari
character
at
peaks."
He
added,
"Writer
Sreedhar
Seepana
did
a
fantastic
job
involving
in
Loukyam
from
Start
to
Finish.We
are
very
Happy
to
work
Screenplay
for
his
script."
Meanwhile,
Kona
Venkat,
who
scored
two
hits
with
Power
and
Geetanjali
after
he
split
from
Srinu
Vaitla,
described
Loukyam
as
unlimited
fun.
On
Tuesday,
the
writer
tweeted,
"We
are
coming
on
26th
to
entertain
u
all
..
Watch
out
for
the
most
entertaining
movie..
Unlimited
fun
!!!"
He
added,
"A
full
length
entertainer
from
hero
Gopichand
for
the
first
time..The
combination
of
Chandramohan
&
Brahmanandam
Garu."
Directed
by
Srivas,
Loukyam
features
Gopichand
and
Rakul
Preet
Singh
in
the
lead
roles.
Its
music,
which
has
been
composed
by
Anoop
Rubens,
has
already
got
superb
response
from
film
goers.
As
per
its
promos,
the
film
has
rich
production
values.
Considering
these
facts,
trade
experts
from
T-Town
predict
that
Loukyam
would
get
fantastic
opening
and
also
take
a
toll
on
the
collection
of
Aagadu
at
the
Box
Office.
