Director Boyapati Srinu's action-drama Legend has received an earth-shattering response at the worldwide Box Office over the weekend. Clearing the Monday test, the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer has continued to rock the viewers even on the weekdays. Its collection is much better than that of Superstar Mahesh Babu's 1: Nenokkadine, which was released during Sankranti festival early this year.
Released in 1,000+ screens on March 28, Legend opened to an overwhelming response and collected superb numbers at the Box Office on first day. Despite having a strong positive word of mouth, its business went down on Saturday. Trade experts had predicted that its collection would be affected by Municipal Elections on Sunday. As expected, it was affected, but not up to the expected level.
Legend also did well at the Box Office on Monday, Ugadi holiday. The film has collected Rs 19.15 crores at the Andhra Pradesh Box Office in four days. Its breakup is Rs 6.90 cr on Fri, Rs 3.75 cr on Sat, Rs 4.35 cr on Sun and Rs 4.15 cr on Mon. The film has collected Rs 2.65 crores at the ticket counters in Karnataka and other parts of India.
Released in 60+ screens in America on March 27, Legend has received fantastic response from viewers and collected Rs 2.15 crores nett ($357,829) at the USA Box Office in four-day-extended weekend. It has become the biggest opener and highest grosser for Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu in the country. The film has collected a total of Rs 23.85 crores at the worldwide Box Office in four days.
