Akkineni
Nagarjuna
has
revealed
that
filmmaker
Mani
Ratnam
has
cancelled
his
big-ticket
project,
which
was
to
feature
him
alongside
Tollywood
Superstar
Mahesh
Babu.
The
actor
has
not
divulged
any
reasons
for
it,
but
the
reports
suggest
that
both
Telugu
actors
themselves
have
walked
out
of
this
film
as
they
were
not
happy
with
the
final
script
of
the
movie
prepared
by
ace
South
Indian
director.
Both
Mahesh
Babu
and
Akkineni
Nagarjuna
had
reportedly
given
their
oral
consent
to
work
together
in
Mani
Ratnam's
project
earlier,
but
they
had
expressed
"reservations" over
the
script.
It
is
now
reported
that
the
filmmaker
recently
presented
the
final
version
of
the
script
to
Prince,
who
opted
out
of
the
film
as
he
found
some
issues
with
his
script.
Later,
Nagarjuna
also
walked
out
of
the
movie
quoting
the
same
reason.
However,
Mahesh
Babu
and
Mani
Ratnam
are
yet
to
make
an
official
announcement
about
the
latest
development
with
this
project.
Whereas
Nagarjuna
has
confirmed
the
cancellation
of
the
project.
However,
he
did
not
tell
anything
about
issues
in
the
script.
He
has
a
different
reason
for
shelving
it.
"Mani
Ratnam
has
narrated
a
story
to
me
and
Mahesh
Babu.
But
after
some
days,
he
called
me
and
said
that
the
project
is
cancelled,"
IndiaGlitz
quotes
the
actor
as
saying.
