Mahesh Babu Still A Part Of Mani Ratnam's Spy Thriller

Mahesh Babu-Nagarjuna's first combo movie has been creating quite a lot of buzz in the media, ever since director Mani Ratnam announced it. The filmmaker's wife Suhasini has slammed the reports that Telugu Superstar has walked out of the project due to dates problem. She says that the film will be a spy thriller made on the lines of Hollywood films Bourne Identity and Mission Impossible, and Prince is very much a part of it.

Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shooting of director Srinu Vaitla's Aagadu. He has another two projects like Shivam and Tapori lined up next. So it was recently rumoured that due to dates issue the Tollywood Superstar had opted out of this bilingual film, which will be simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil. But in a recent interview Suhasini refuted the rumours and said that he is still a part of the film.

Meanwhile, Suhasini also confirmed that it would be suspense thriller. "The film is a spy thriller, on the lines of Bourne Identity and we are planning to start shooting of the film in June this year. Apart from Aishwarya Rai and Shruti Hassan, there will be another actress in the film and we are planning to rope in either an Iranian or a Pakistani actress for this role," a website quotes Mani Ratnam's wife as saying.

The untitled film will be big budget entertainer, which will be produced by Vijayanthi Movies in association with Madras Talkies. Oscar winning musician AR Rahman will score music for the movie, while Ravi Varman handles the camera work. A Pakistani or an Iranian actor would be roped in to play a pivotal role in the flick, which will mark the return of Aishwarya Rai to the silver screen after a sabbatical of four years.
