Manam (3 Days) First Weekend Collection At Box Office

Akkineni family drama film Manam, which is one of the most-hyped and highly-anticipated Telugu movies of 2014, has got superb opening across the globe. The late Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya starrer has done fantastic collection at the worldwide Box Office in the first weekend. The movie has topped the Tollywood business chart, beating Rajinikanth's movie Vikramasimha.

Trade experts had predicted that Manam would clash with Vikramasimha, but a sentimental feeling towards late ANR worked in favour of Akkineni family drama. The movie, which had huge amount of advance ticket booking, released in 100+ screens in the international market on May 22 and in 700+ cinema halls in India on May 23. The film opened to earth-shattering response with its occupancy ranging between 90% and 100% on Friday.

Directed by Vikram Kumar and produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna, Manam showed good growth on the following days. The film has collected Rs 6.22 crores nett at the Andhra Pradesh Box Office in the first weekend. It has raked in Rs 79 lakhs from its screening in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other parts of India. It has minted more than Rs 4.25 crores nett at the international Box Office. It has collected a total of Rs 11.26+ crores nett at the worldwide Box Office in three days.

Manam has collected $ 95,473 in Thu pre, $ 213,511 on Fri and $ 260,327 on Sat in America. The makers are yet to reveal its Sunday collection. It has collected Rs 3.33 crores ($ 569,311) at the USA Box Office in three days.
