Nagarjuna's Manam Has Record Amount Of Advance Ticket Booking

Much-hyped and highly-anticipated Telugu movie Manam featuring three generation stars of Akkineni family, is set to release in a large number of cinema halls across the globe on May 22 and 23. The movie, which will have a grand premiere in Hyderabad on Thursday evening, has already registered a record amount of advance ticket booking for the first weekend and it is set to start with bang at the Box Office.

Manam is the last movie of late legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who died of cancer on January 22, 2014. His son Nagarjuna, who has produced the film under his home banner Annapurna Studios, does not want even single fan of ANR to miss the movie. So has planned to release it in more than 1000 screens in India as well as international markets.

The makers of Manam have already booked 171 theaters in Nizam, 95 theatres in Ceeded, 50 theatres in Vizag, 85 theatres in East and West Godavari, 40 theaters in Krishna, 45 theatres in Gutur, 25 theatres in Nellore, 12 screens in Chennai, 20 screens in Bangalore, 25 screens in Maharastra, 108 screens in the USA, 9 screens in Toronto, 6 screens in Germany, 2 screens in Switzerland, 3 screens in Netherlands.

The advance ticket booking for Manam was made available both online as well as in theatres five days before its release. Many Akkineni fans immediately rushed to theatres to book their tickets, while some did it online. The makers have not made any official statement about the amount of advance booking. But sources from the industry claim that the movie has already registered nearly 50% advance booking.

The advance ticket booking for Manam is still going at brisk pace. Expert feel that more than 75% of tickets will booked much before its release and the film is expected to run with packed houses in the first weekend.
