released
date
of
his
upcoming
movie
Manam.
He
says
that
he
has
planned
to
release
it
during
Ugadi.
This
movie
is
very
special
for
the
actor
as
it
is
the
last
film
of
his
late
father
Akkineni
Nageswara
Rao.
It
also
stars
his
son
Naga
Chaitanya
with
him.
So
he
describes
his
experience
on
the
sets
of
this
movie
as
adventurous
and
memorable.
Akkineni
Nagarjuna,
who
recently
visited
Tirupathi
with
his
son
Akhil,
took
to
his
Facebook
page
to
talk
about
Manam
release
and
Akhil's
acting
debut.
The
actor
wrote,
"I
am
planning
to
release
Manam
for
Ugadi!
I've
come
here
to
Tirumala
with
Akhil
Akkineni
to
pray
for
my
parents.
His
debut
is
just
round
the
corner
and
the
process
will
start
once
Manam
releases!"
Legendary
actor
Akkineni
Nageswara
Rao
passed
away
just
few
days
after
completing
the
shooting
of
the
film
Manam.
On
his
Facebook
page,
Nagarjuna
posted,
"Manam
is
totally
an
entertainment-based
movie
with
elements
of
magic
that
could
thrill
viewers.
It's
been
a
great
and
an
adventurous
journey
thus
far
in
my
acting
career
and
it
was
memorable
to
act
with
both
my
father
and
son
simultaneously."
Manam
is
written
and
directed
by
Vikram
Kumar
and
produced
by
Nagarjuna
under
his
banner
Annapurna
Studios.
The
film,
which
is
slated
to
release
March
31
on
the
occasion
of
Ugadi,
the
Telugu
New
Year,
will
also
feature
Shriya
Saran,
Samantha
Ruth
Prabhu
and
Neetu
Chandra
in
important
roles.
