Nikhil's Karthikeya Satellite Rights Sold For A Record Price

Actor Nikhil Siddharth has scored a big hit with the movie Swamy Ra Ra and its success has created huge hype and lot of expectations from his upcoming movie Karthikeya. There was a lot of demand for the satellite rights of the film and a few leading channel were in race to acquire its rights. If we are to go by latest reports, they have been sold for a whopping amount, which is a record price for Nikhil's movie.

According to reports, Gemini TV, which had acquired the rights of Swamy Ra Ra, has now bagged the satellite rights of Karthikeya. The TV channel has reportedly shelled out a hefty sum of Rs 1.4 crore. Swamy Ra Ra had fetched approximately Rs 1.10 crore from TV rights and it was biggest price for Nikhil's movie. Now, his forthcoming film has beaten his old record.

Karthikeya is a supernatural suspense thriller, written and directed by debutante Chandoo Mondeti. Set in the backdrop of a village on the boarder of Andhra and Tamil Nnadu, the film deals with the story of the temple of Subramanian Swamy, which has been closed due to some reasons. After Swamy Ra Ra, Nikhil Siddharth and Swathi have teamed again for this film, which is simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil.
