Filmmaker
Nandini
Reddy
has
revealed
that
she
has
put
her
Telugu
project
with
actor
Nitin
Reddy
on
hold.
The
director,
who
will
soon
make
her
directorial
debut
in
Bollywood,
says
that
she
had
delay
this
movie
due
to
the
division
of
Andhra
Pradesh
that
has
caused
tax
issues.
In
a
statement
to
the
media,
Nandini
Reddy
said,
"I
was
supposed
to
start
a
project
with
Nithiin.
Everything
was
finalized
and
we
were
good
to
go
but
when
the
state
(Andhra
Pradesh)
got
bifurcated,
I
had
to
put
my
plans
on
hold.
We
are
going
through
a
flux
and
I
want
to
wait
for
it
to
settle
down."
Just
a
day
before
the
release
of
Nitin's
last
movie
Heart
Attack,
Nandini
Reddy
had
launched
this
movie
at
a
grand
event
in
Hyderabad.
The
director
added,
"Had
we
started
then,
we
would
have
faced
lot
of
tax
issues
following
the
state's
bifurcation.
I
didn't
want
to
take
any
chances."
It
was
recently
rumoured
that
Nandini
Reddy
will
foray
into
Bollywood
with
the
Hindi
remake
of
her
hit
Telugu
film
Ala
Modalaindi.
When
quizzed
about
it,
the
director
admitted
working
on
the
remake,
but
declined
to
divulge
the
details.
She
said,
"The
Hindi
remake
is
on
and
a
leading
banner
is
producing
the
film.
But
I
can't
share
more
details
with
regards
to
it."
