Not Doing Film With Shankar: Mahesh Babu

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is now awaiting the release of his Telugu movie Aagadu, has quashed the rumours that he is planning to collaborate with Tamil filmmaker Shankar for an untitled project. The speculations were being made soon after Shankar attended the audio launch of the Srinu Vaitla-directed film as the chief guest on August 30. Prince says that he will work on the next movie after Aagadu release.

In a statement to the media, Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu said, "Shankar was present at the audio launch of Aagadu (Aug 30) as a chief guest. There was no other special reason for his presence. I'm not doing any film with him. As soon as Aagadu comes out, I'll get busy with my next project."

Meanwhile, it was also being rumoured that Mahesh Babu would attend the audio launch of Shankar's Tamil film I. He also clarified that he will not be attending the audio launch scheduled to take place in Chennai on September 15. The actor said, "I won't be attending the audio launch of I as I will be busy due to prior commitments. I wish the team best of luck."

Mahesh Babu is all set to team with Mirchi fame director Koratala Siva for forthcoming Telugu film, which is produced by Mythri Movies. Director VV Vinayak launched this untitled movie at a grand opening ceremony held in Padmalaya Studios, Hyderabad on August 11. The yet-to-be titled film will go on floors on October 2.
