Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda Overtakes Heart Attack At Box Office

Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda starring Manchu family heroes Mohan Babu, Vishnu and Manoj, has got superb opening at the USA Box Office. With its fantastic three-day collection, the movie has topped international weekend chart, beating Puri Jagannadh's much-hyped movie Heart Attack starring Nitin and Bollywood actress Adah Sharma in the leads.

Directed by Srivas, Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda released in 42 screens in America and received overwhelming response. Having showed good jump on the following days, the Manchu family multi-starrer film has collected Rs 45.35 lakhs ($72,584) at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. Its per-screen average is far better than that of Salman Khan's Jai Ho, which has raked in Rs 76.95 lakhs ($123,080) from 142 screens in the country.

But Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda has failed to beat the collection record of Vishnu Manchu's last big hit film Denikaina Ready, which had collected Rs 51.47 lakhs ($95,151) from 26 screens at the USA Box Office in the first weekend. The per screen average of Denikaina Ready was $3,660. Whereas, Manchu's latest movie has scored $1,728 per screen.

Another new Telugu release Heart Attack hit 43 screens in the country. But it had a lower amount of occupancy when compared to Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda. The Nitin and Adah Sharma starrer has raked in Rs 40.30 lakhs ($64,494) at the USA Box Office in its opening weekend.
