101 Kg Cake For Attarintiki Daredi 100 Days Celebration

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daredi, which has been made with Rs 60 crores faced lot of problems like Telangana protest and online leak before its release. Many in T-Town were wondering whether producer BVSN Prasad would be able to recover his investments on the movie. To everyone's surprise, the film has not only become the all time highest Telugu film, but also completed 100-day run in record number of screens. Its makers have planned to cut 101 KG cake to mark the celebration.

Four days after it was allegedly leaked online, BVSN Prasad, who made some quick arrangements, released Attarintiki Daredi in record number of screens in Andhra Pradesh and around the world. The Pawan Kalyan and Samantha starrer opened to an overwhelming response at the Box Office. The film ran to packed houses in almost all theatres across the globe on its opening day.

Released in 1,200 screens worldwide on September 27, Attarintiki Daredi had completed 50-day run in 170 screens. Despite doing well at the Box Office, the movie was forced to be withdrawn from many theatres due to several big releases. However, the movie is all set to complete 100 days in as many as 32 cinema halls on January 4.

Attarintiki Daredi, which has been directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is currently being screened in 4 centers in Nizam, 11 in Ceded, 1 in Vizag, 4 each in Krishna and Guntur, 6 in East and 2 in West Godavari. The makers of the movie are expected to hold function to mark its successful run. Mega family PRO SKN tweeted, "101 kg cake cutting & Annadanam for abt 3000 ppl tomorrow at Sandhya theater by megafans on the eve of #AD 100 day."
