A
few
months
after
the
release
of
his
second
multi-starrer,
actor
Venkatesh
Daggubati
is
now
teaming
up
with
none
other
than
Tollywood's
No
1
actor
Pawan
Kalyan
for
his
next
movie,
which
is
a
remake
of
hit
Bollywood
film
OMG!
Oh
My
God.
The
flick
is
yet
to
hit
the
floors,
but
its
producers
have
already
finalised
its
release
date.
The
untitled
Telugu
remake
will
mostly
hit
the
screens
on
Gandhi
Jayanti
on
October
2.
The
Telugu
version
of
OMG!
Oh
My
God
is
produced
by
Venkatesh's
brother
D
Suresh
Babu
and
Pawan
Kalyan's
close
friend
Sharat
Marar.
The
spokesperson
of
the
film
says,
"The
film
will
go
on
floors
soon.
We
are
planning
to
release
the
film
on
Gandhi
Jayanti.
Of
course,
there
could
be
changes
in
the
release
date,
but
as
of
now
we
have
locked
Oct
2."
OMG!
Oh
My
God
is
about
a
shopkeeper,
who
takes
God
to
court
when
an
insurance
company
declines
to
give
compensation
for
his
shop
that
is
destroyed
by
an
earthquake.
Paresh
Rawal
has
played
the
shopkeeper,
while
Akshay
Kumar
appeared
as
Lord
Krishna
in
the
Hindi
film.
The
makers
of
its
Telugu
version
are
yet
make
it
clear
which
roles
Venkatesh
and
Pawan
Kalyan
will
play.
However,
it
should
be
recalled
here
that
Venkatesh
was
last
seen
in
Bol
Bachchan
remake
Masala.
Recently,
he
has
signed
to
star
in
remake
of
Malayalam
film
Drishyam.
OMG!
Oh
My
God
is
the
third
remake
project
that

accepted

the
last
twelve
months.
