Rudhramadevi is a upcoming Telugu period drama starring Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubatti in the lead roles. Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing a cameo role as Gona Ganna Reddy. The filmmaker has given perfect roles to the actors in the moviw which will treat the audience. Rudhramadevi features Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubatti, Nithya Menon, Aditi Chengappa, Prakash Raj, Aditya Menon and others in the important roles. In the first look picture, Anushka Shetty is seen sitting on the throne with a big sword which depicts the pride of being a Queen and chasing enemies. She looks more vibrant and ferocious in the attire. The costumes designes by Neeta Lulla has received huge complements for creating the perfect visual image of the director Gunasekhar and his Kakatiya Queen in the movie.
Rudhramadevi is the first 3D movie in Telugu film industry, which portrays the story of most prominent rulers of the Kakatiya dynasty. Rudhrama Devi is one among few ruling Queens who fought for their mother-land in Indian history. This movie will definitely be a visual treat, for recreating the past historic events.
Padma Shri Thota Tharani is the art director, who has worked very hard to create Kakatiya dynasty, says reports. The team has took nearly spent 40 days at Ramanaidu Studios for building the seven wall structured fort of queen Rudhrama Devi. It has been shot using the most sophisticated camera and equipments which will be a thriller experience to watch out for. The filmmakers have spent 15 crores to put up 12 grand sets for the movie.(Kakatiya dynasty).
