Pictures: Shahrukh Khan Unveils Vikramasimha Audio CD
Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan has unveiled the audio CDs of Rajinikanth's upcoming Telugu film Vikramasimha, the dubbed version of Tamil movie Kochadaiiyaan at a star-studded event. The music launch function was held in Chennai on March 9 and who's who of Tamil film industry attended the function. The trailer of this much-awaited movie was also launched on the occasion.
Vikramasimha has nine songs. Popular lyricists Chandrabose and Vanamali have written three lyrics each, while Ananta Sriram penned two lyrics. Oscar award winning musician AR Rahman has scored music for the soundtracks of the film. Latha Rajinikanth, Hemachandra, SP Balasubrahmanyam, Sadhana Sargam, Mano, Chinmayi, AR Rahman and AR Reihana have crooned the soundtracks.
KS Ravikumar has written the story, while Soundarya R Ashwin directed the film Vikramasimha. Rajinikanth is enacting and voicing three lead roles in this 3D motion capture computer-animated period film, while R Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar appear in supporting cast.
Sunanda Murali Manohar and Sunil Lulla have produced Kochadaiiyaan with a whopping budget of Rs 125 crores. Leading distribution house Lakshmi Ganapathi Films has bought the rights of Vikramasimha, its Telugu version. Its music launch was a star-studded event.
