Bollywood actress Shilpi Shukla, who came to limelight with her stint in Hindi TV serials, has made her grand debut in Telugu film industry with the movie Andaru Andarena. The actress has played the female lead opposite Posani Krishna Murali in this flick. She has impressed the viewers with her excellent acting skills and hot and glamourous looks in this romance drama that released in September 2013.
Andaru Andarena is a romantic horror movie with a nice blend of entertainment quotient in it. The film has been directed by Kasula Ramakrishna and produced by Sivasai Srikar Gupta K under his production banner - Srikar Movie Makers. Besides direction, Ramakrishna has also written story, screenplay and dialogue for the movie for which Sai Srikanth has composed soundtracks and background score.
Posani Krishna Murali has essayed a crucial role in Andaru Andarena. Thagubothu Ramesh, Chitram Sreenu, Dhanraj and Venu have filled comedy slot and their comedy scenes made the audience spill laughs in theaters. Shilpi Shukla was born in Mumbai on July 22, 1987 and brought up in Lucknow. She had her primary education there. She was very passionate about modelling and she started attending fashion shows during her college days.

In 2012, she received her first film acting offer from South. She debuted in Kollywood with director Abhavanan's Tamil film Marumugam starring Daniel Balaji and Runya in leads. She played an important role in the film.

Talking about Bhojpuri Films, she says, "The industry should concentrate on making good movies, which members of a family sit together and watch. When compared to the movies in the past, today Bhojpuri films feature lot of vulgarity and double meaning dialogues and song. It is difficult for family audience to watch together. I feel the industry should stop doing such movies."
Vulgarity Defames Film Industry
She added, "Bhojpuri Film industry has made good name itself and non-Bhojpuri viewers like our films because of our clean entertainer values. Doing films with vulgarity would defame the industry. Many of my friends looked down upon me as well as industry for doing item songs."
