Ram Gopal Varma Set To Explore Erotica In Korika/XES

Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has written, directed and produced films in multiple genres like psychological thrillers, fiction, horror, crime, musical, romance, experimental, parallel road movies and docudrama. The maverick filmmaker, who recently released his horror Telugu film Ice Cream, has now all set his eyes on a new genre - Erotica with next movie, which will be released in Telugu as Korika and Hindi as XES.

Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter account to announce his decision on the new genre. He tweeted, "The will to power and desire for pleasure are the most primary motivating factors in human instinct nd they control 99% of human activities. If my violent films dealt with power XES will deal with desire. Buddha asking to renounce desire bcos it's root cause of sorrow is bull..Desire is only reason why life is worth living..XES explores that"

The filmmaker continued, "In the film XES I intend to explore that facet of the human mind to its upper limit by placing an assortment of characters in six different sexual situations which will be all connected through one central story line...In an erotically charged atmosphere, each of the situations in the film are going to bring out the emotions of guilt, betrayal, helplessness, embarrassment, hurt and above all empathy.. XES is going to be my first Hindi film in my re-invention of what all genres I tried my hand at so far."

His next Hindi film XES, which marks his comeback to Bollywood two years after Satya 2, is produced by Philip Manoharan and presented by Tumbhi. Ram Gopal Varma has also released the poster of the movie on his Twitter page.
