Ravi Teja's much-awaited Telugu movie Power, which marks directorial debut of Bobby aka KS Ravindra, has received 'A' certificate from the Censor Board and is all set to hit the marquee this Friday. The makers of the film have grand plans for its release worldwide. As per latest reports, the movie is scheduled to release in 900 screens across the globe. The number is likely go up further.
According to the reports, the producers of Power have
already booked 175 screens in Nizam, 100 screens in Ceeded, 60
screens in Vizag, 40 screens in East Godavari, 35 screens in West
Godavari, 50 screens in Krishna, 40 screens in Guntur, 25 screens
in Nellore, 125 cinema halls overseas, 80 screens in Karnataka, 30
screens in Tamil Nadu, 40 screens in Mumbai and 30+ screens in
other parts of North India.
Power is now confirmed to release in 830 cinema halls
worldwide. Its producers want to release it in at least 900
screens. They are still in talks with some theatre owners in
different areas. Hence the screen count of the film is expected to
increase before the movie hits the theatres this Friday.
Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, Power is a romantic action film with a high comic quotient. Ravi Teja is playing the double roles, while Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra appear as his love interest. Its promos have garnered lot of curiosity for the film. Scheduled to release in theatres on September 12, it should be seen whether the movie will be able to reach the expectations of viewers or not.
