Shruti Hassan Upset Over B-Grade Publicity For Gelupu Gurram

It was recently reported that Suresh Doodala had bought the dubbing rights of the Bollywood movie D-Day and he would release it in Telugu as Gelupu Gurram. In a bid to cash in on Shruti Hassan's glamour quotient, he has used her hot photos for the promotions of the film. But the producer's act has not gone well the actress, who is upset over the B-Grade publicity of the Telugu version of D-Day.

The story of D-Day, which has been written by Ritesh Shah and Suresh Nair, is all about how a team of experts make an effort to bring in the most wanted man in India. Directed by Nikhil Adavani, this action spy thriller features Arjun Rampal, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. Shruti Hassan, who has played a Karachi-based prostitute, has given very bold performance in the film.

The producer of its Telugu version has already completed its dubbing works and is now gearing up to release the film in theatres across Andhra Pradesh. Releasing the posters of Gelupu Gurram, Suresh Doodala said, "This film will be treat for Shruti Hassan fans. He added, "She has delivered a very bold performance and her glamour is one of the main highlights. Especially, her hot scenes will be the special attraction in the film."

Recently, Suresh Doodala has kick-started promotions of Gelupu Gurram. In bid to cash on Shruti Hassan's popularity, the producer has released her bold pictures and promoting it as a B-Grade movie to woo audience in B and C centers. The upset actress asked the producer to change his promotional strategy, but he has not given a heed to her request. It should be seen what action she will take against him.
