Director Srinu Vaitla, who has recently started shooting for his next movie Aagadu, has all thanks to Superstar Mahesh Babu and the entire film unit. The director has recently wrapped up the filming of a dust scene, which is said to be a crucial for the film and was a big challenge to shoot. Everyone in the team reportedly cooperated very well with him.
This morning, the elated Srinu Vaitla took to his Twitter page to share his excitement about the film. The director wrote, "Shooting in immense dust for a super visual treat onscreen ..." He added, "Hats off to my entire team for their cooperation and hard work...especially my dear superstar !!"
Srinu Vaitla and Mahesh Babu have already worked in the movie Dookudu and Aagadu would be their second combo movie. Prince will be donning the role of a tough cop for the third time in his career. He will appear as Encounter Specialist Shankar and he will speak Rayalaseema Dialect in this film. He says, "I'm playing a completely different character in this film and it'll be a typical mass entertainer in Sreenu Vaitla's style."
Names of actresses like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Samantha and Shruti Hassan were doing rounds for the female lead in the film. But it was officially confirmed that Srinu Vaitla finalized Tamanna, who will be seen as the heroine opposite Mahesh Babu for the first time. The muhurtham of Aagadu was held in Hyderabad on October 25. At the launch event, Srinu Vaitla said that he would start filming for it from November 15 onwards.
Aagadu Regular Shooting
The regular shooting of Aagadu began on December 2 and some comedy scenes were shot on Mahesh Babu, MS Narayana and Vennela Kishore in Hyderabad.
Aagadu First Schedule
Actress Tamannaah joined Mahesh Babu for the shooting of Aagadu on 12 December 2013 and the first schedule was wrapped up soon. A Huge Police Station set was erected in Hyderabad. For four days, the shooting continued in Aluminium Factory at Gachibowli.
Special Sets For Aagadu
After a brief gap on account of Sankranti festival, Mahesh Babu resumed Aagadu shooting at a specially-erected court set in Saradhi Studio in Hyderabad on January 18. It was followed by canning of few more key scenes included a fight sequence at Nanakramguda.
Aagadu Shooting In Bellary
Later, Mahesh Babu and Tamanna completed a few sentimental scenes in a specially erected marriage set at Ramoji Film City. On February 23, Aagadu team headed to Bellary where Mahesh Babu is canning the introduction song on and few dancers at the Jindal Steel Factory.
