Rajamouli Finishes Shooting War Sequence For Baahubali

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who has been working on a war sequence for the last few months for an upcoming movie Baahubali, has successfully finished shooting for this much-talked about Telugu period-drama. The director says that it would not have been possible without the support of his team.

Speaking to about the war sequence in Baahubali, SS Rajamouli told, "We have completed shooting a major portion of the war sequences. It was a heavy schedule and I have to thank all those who helped me complete it from the boys in the gym to those who were toiling in the sun from morning to evening."

Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati are playing the lead roles in Baahubali, while Tamanna, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh and Sudeepis reprise other important roles. SS Rajamouli added, "Everybody worked with so much enthusiasm and I don't think I could have pulled it off without them."

The shooting of Baahubali began at Rock Gardens in Kurnool from 6 July 2013. Later, the film unit has shot the war sequences at a set erected in Ramoji Film City from 23 December 2013 to 5 March 2014. The team is expected to start the next in Visakhapatnam soon. The film is expected to release in 2015.
