Tollywood Stars Urge Fans To Cast Their Votes

Today, the second phase of election is being held in the Semandhra region. A few Telugu actors from this area took some time out of their busy shooting schedule and visited the polling both early in the morning. Having cast their votes, Tollywood stars like SS Rajamouli, Lakshmi Manchu, Nikhil Siddhartha and few others even urged their fans to vote.

SS Rajamouli, who has cast his vote in Hyderabad in the first phase of elections, took to his Twitter page and in a series of tweets, he urged his followers to vote. He wrote, "Know your Polling Station - send SMS to 9246280027 as: Time to vote ANDHRA PRADESH!!! Getup and get going... THIS is the most imp day in the next 5 yrs of our lives!!!"

The ace director continued, "Cellphones are NOT allowed inside booths.. Voter slip is enough to vote this time.. But a photo id will speed up the process of voting!! Take a selfie outside the booth with your inked finger and post it. Will RT as many as possible... Don't cheat ah...;) Tweet with ur loc.."

Lakshmi Manchu tweeted, "To know Polling Station, send SMS to 9246280027 as: Visit Polling Station with Voter Slip/ID vote 7am to 6pm." He added, "Vote VOTE VoTe no matter who u vote for go & vote. I say @narendramodi if u want a successful & a happy & a powerful India. Modi all the way"

On his Twitter account, actor Nikhil Siddhartha wrote, "Today is the day... Voting Day.. our day to make our voice heard... mana vote vesi mana future ni maname decide chesukundam... VOTE NOW."
