actor
Akkineni
Nageswara
Rao
on
the
silver
screen.
The
Late
legendary
actor,
who
is
fondly
known
as
ANR,
died
on
January
22,
2014.
He
was
91.The
viewers
should
not
miss
this

him
dazzling
the
screens
for
the
last
time.
Manam
stars
Akkineni
family's
three
generation
features
like
Nageswara
Rao,
Nagarjuna,
Naga
Chaitanya,
who
have
star
together
for
the
first
time
in
their
careers.
In
a
statement
to
the
media,
Nagarjuna
said,
"This
is
my
father's
last
film
and
people
shouldn't
miss
the
opportunity
to
see
him
on-screen
one
last
time.
The
film
will
be
a
befitting
farewell
to
my
father."

Vikram
Kumar
has
written
the
story
and
screenplay
and
directed
the
movie
Manam.
Talking
about
his
scripting
work,
Nagarjuna
said,
"When
we
decided
to
act
together
in
a
film,
we
had
come
across
a
lot
of
scripts
but
nothing
impressed
us.
Finally,
when
Vikram
narrated
this
script,
we
were
bowled
over
and
realized
it
was
what
we
were
looking
for."
Manam,
which
also
features
Shriya
Saran,
Samantha
Ruth
Prabhu,
Neetu
Chandra
and
Raashi
Khanna,
is
slated
to
release
worldwide
on
May
23.
