the
recently
released
Telugu
film
Yevadu
have
been
booked
for
allegedly
promoting
obscenity
in
the
film's
posters
in
Kurnool.
In
his
complaint,
K
Nagendra
Prasad,
a
businessman,
stated
that
the
posters
of
the
film
were
obscene
and,
therefore,
a
case
has
been
filed
against
the
team.
K
Nagendra
Prasad
has
filed
the
complaint
against
Ram
Charan,
director
Vamsi
Paidipally,
producer
Dil
Raju
and
and
other
key
members
on
Wednesday.
Police
have
registered
a
case
under
the
Indecent
Representation
of
Women
(Prohibition)
Act,
1986.
However,
director
Vamsi
Paidipally
called
the
charges
"baseless".
Vamsi
Paidipally
told,
"We
have
no
clue
which
poster
he
is
referring
to.
If
he
is
talking
about
the
one
featuring
Amy
Jackson
in
a
two-piece
bikini
with
Charan,
it
was
from
a
song.
There
was
absolutely
no
obscenity
in
it.
These
are
just
baseless
allegations."
He
added,
"We
will
handle
this
legally."
Yevadu
is
a
big-budget
movie
produced
by
Dil
Raju.
The
movie
has
a
beach
song
featuring
Amy
Jackson
in
a
bikini
opposite
Ram
Charan
Teja.
The
film
also
features
Shruti
Hassan,
Allu
Arjun,
Kajal
Agarwal
and
Brahmanadam
in
important
roles.
Released
on
January
12,
the
film
has
taken
the
Box
Office
by
the
storm.
