NOT TO MISS! 5 Times Tollywood Joined Hands In Helping People & Fought The Natural Calamities

No wonder we consider our heroes as demi-gods and favorite idols and there is no doubt that they provide us great entertainment and deliver immense joy with their traits on-screen. But is it just that, that is making us go crazy for them?

Well! We are sure that you will agree with us if we say we love our Tollywood heroes a bit extra for their off-screen charisma. The aura they carry in real life is too fascinating and inspiring. In fact, only their acts off the screens has the capacity to bring them close to hearts.

When we actually gave a thought, why are our movie stars more or less a family for movie buffs, we realized they have put in much to touch our lives. Though the entertainment they had spread through their films is only limited, the way they worked for a better society made them real heroes rather than just being reel stars.

If we could reminisce the times when we are badly beaten up by the natural calamities, the first ones that shall pass through our minds, are our movie celebs, who joined hands to put the society together once again. They have spill the magic of their star capacity by raising funds and helping the needy.

Be it the generation of NTR-ANR, Chiranjeevi-Balakrishna or the young crop of talents, they always made sure to reserve a special place for us in their heart. Check out the slides below to actually recall those five times when our Tollywood joined hands to help people and fight the odds.

In 1952, NTR sensitized Telugu people to the plight of drought-prone Rayalaseeema and raised funds for relief supplies by bringing entire Tollywood together and he repeated a similar feat in 1977 for cyclone victims in Diviseema.
