Just in the past few days, Tollywood has lost three comedians. Mada Venkateshwara Rao, Kallu Chidambaram and a couple of days ago, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao breathed their last, fighting dreadful diseases.
Reiterating that Kondavalasa should have lived longer, comedian L B Sriram vented out his anguish and opined some sort of curse is haunting Telugu comedians family.
"Almost all these talented, matured and iconic actors are aging. So, it's against nature that everyone should stay alive for long, but sad thing is that we now don't know who's alive and who is dead. Such an irony is prevailing over Telugu film industry now", he added.
Notable comedians and character artists like M S Narayana, Dharamavarapu Subramanyam, Ahuti Prasad also passed away recently, leaving a great void in the industry.
In fact it is still unbelievable to believe some of them have left us as we can even see them in recent releases. Though M S Narayana passed away in January this year, he was seen in last week's release Sher, leaving people in a state of shock. In fact a dozen of his films released after his death and the best part is none of them edited out his character because he is no more.
Makers of those films roped in a mimicry artist to dub for him and brought him alive. This would be a good example to quote the kind of importance comedians hold in Telugu industry. Unfortunately, many talents had left us in the past few days and we couldn't agree more with L B Sriram.
