Akhil First Weekend WW Box Office Collections, Area-wise Breakup

The young Akkineni scion, Akhil Akkineni's debut movie, Akhil co-starring Sayesha Saigal under the direction of V V Vinayak opened to mixed reviews on Diwali. It is known that the film carried great expectations among fans as well as moviegoers since it is the first ever film of Nagarjuna's son.

Industry insiders were also eager to know how Akhil would mesmerize the audience and take forward the Akkineni legacy. However, nothing came to the film's rescue and the it is running with deficits from the day 2. Akhil dropped drastically after day 2 and the Monday has become worse. The film, which released on November 11 on the occasion of Diwali, garnered huge figures on the opening day and has become the highest grosser among Akkineni films till date.

Also, Akhil managed to break the Day 1 record of Ram Charan's Chirutha, which holds the record for collecting highest amount of collections for a debut hero. Increased ticket rates have also come in favor of Akhil.

Akhil collected a total share of 14.61 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana alone while the total share of worldwide collections is 16.34 Cr after its first weekend. Going by the trade reports, the film might struggle to fetch at least 20 Cr by the full run. If so, the film will be an all time disaster with a loss of more than 20 Cr. Nizam

Akhil collected a total share of 4.80 Cr in Nizam after its first weekend. Akhil was supposed to release on October 22nd during the Dussera race. However, it got postponed to November 11 due to the delay in graphic works.

Ceeded

Akhil collected a total share of 2.85 Cr in Ceeded after its first weekend. Nagarjuna appeared in the last song and grooved along with Akhil and Sayesha.

Andhra

Akhil collected a total share of 6.96 Cr in Andhra after its first weekend. It was also a debut film for heroine Sayesha Saigal.

Karnataka

Akhil collected a share of 1.05 Cr in Karnataka after first weekend. Akhil revolves around the backstory of Jua, which is a scarce entity that is believed to protect the world from destruction.

USA

Akhil collected a total share of 0.33 Cr in USA after its first weekend. Akhil received mixed response on day 1 and it dropped at the box office after day 2.

ROI

Akhil collected a share of 0.25 Cr in rest of the India. 

ROW

Akhil collected a share of 0.10 Cr in rest of the world.
