Anjali Replaces Anushka In Allu Arjun's Next

Earlier reports suggested that Anushka will sizzle alongside Allu Arjun in an item number in the latter's upcoming project. The sources further added that Anushka signed the deal just on the basis of her good friendship with Allu Arjun.

However, according to the latest developments from the film unit, they have roped in Anjali for a special dance number. Anushka couldn't allocate dates for the song and also, considering she has gain weight for Size Zero, she is reportedly little hesitant to appear in glamorous avatar.

Apparently, Allu Arjun and Boyapati, who were impressed with Anjali's mass appeal in recently released Sankarabharanam trailers, decided to get her on board for an item number.

Interestingly, the sources close to the director and hero claim that they have never approached Anushka for the film and informed that Anjali was the first and last choice.

Sarainodu stars Rakul Preet Singh in the female lead while Cathrenie Tresa plays a prominent role. S S Thaman will be scoring the tunes and project is being bankrolled by Bunny's home production, Geeta Arts.

If things fall in place the film might hit screens around February or otherwise Allu Arjun's birthday, April 8 is said to be an ideal date.
