OH FRESH! Anushka To Play Another Historic Role
Just when people assumed her career is bleak with zero offers, Anushka bounced back each time. Though she is doing well with back to back path breaking roles in films like Rudramadevi, Baahubali and Size Zero, industry insiders predicted that the actress would be left with no offers after this.
They opined that Anushka has started outshining the star heroes and her career as a heroine has officially ended. Proving them wrong once again, Anushka is about to sign another interesting project.
It could be true that she is past romancing heroes and sizzling in songs, but her career has not yet ended. According to the reports, the actress will be adorning the role of Bhagmathi in the film that will feature the life of queen Bhagmathi, birth of Bhagmathi river and the history of Hyderabad.
Anushka will be having a makeover as a mystic Hindu queen and a prominent hero is in talks to play Muslim Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah.
Director Ashok, who is currently busy with Anjali's Chitrangadha, has reportedly come up with a striking screenplay of the historical story to make it into a perfect commercial film onscreen. The film was in news also back in 2012, but it looks like things are falling in place now.
If everything goes well, Anushka will get in to this new role after completing her part of the shoot for Baahubali The Conclusion.
