Ace director SS Rajamouli is overwhelmed with the box office response of the recent releases 'I'(Ai, Manoharudu) and Gopala Gopala. The talented director who is tied up with a busy schedule for his upcoming magnum opus 'Baahubali', has appreciated Vikram starrer 'I'(Ai, Manoharudu) and Pawan-Venkatesh starrer Gopala Gopala on his official micro blogging page.
'I', (Ai, Manoharudu) is the recent released movie
which is making news in both Tamil and Telugu film industry. Even
though Shankar's 'I' has been received mixed responses from the
critics, the movie is doing well at box office. The movie has been
simultaneously released in Telugu as Manoharudu. Vikram's good
market value in Tollywood has made the movie to collect Rs. 7 crore
at the first day at box office, which is enormously a huge amount
collected for a dubbed movie.
Gopala Gopala is a remake of Hindi movie Oh My
God, which was released worlwide on 10 January as a Sankranthi
treat. The satirical comedy movie stars Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh
in the lead roles. Apparently, the Pawan-Venkatesh starrer was
preponed the releasing dates of the movie to 10 Jan, which was
earlier fixed its releasing dates on 14 Jan. Gopala
Gopala made good business till Shankar's 'I'(Ai,
Manoharudu) released on 14 Jan. From then it was
Shankar's 'I' v/s Gopala Gopala.
Is faring quite well for the talk it generated initially. The long weekend is also helping. year started on a good note for film business.— rajamouli ss (@ssrajamouli) January 17, 2015
But, now the rumours have went wrong and both the movies are
colleting remarkable numbers at Andhra Pradesh box office which
signifies a good star to Telugu film industry in 2015.
Our ace director 'Rajamouli' has made a right guess!
