Jr NTR, who is currently busy shooting for Sukumar's Nannaku Prematho in the streets of London, might soon join hands with A R Murugadoss and producer Dil Raju for a bilingual project.
If the sources from Chennai circles are to be trusted, the project will be directed by Gopichand Malineni, who is basking in the success of his latest Telugu outing Pandaga Chesko and Murugadoss will only pen a story for the project.
"Murugadoss, Gopichand and producer Dil Raju met last week and discussed about collaborating soon. The initial talks have been positive. They're planning to rope in a leading Telugu film actor," a source privy to the development revealed.
Besides penning the story, Murugadoss will also co-produce the film. He will be producing the film's Tamil version, while Raju will take care of the Telugu version.
Contrary to the early reports, this project won't be the Telugu remake of Murugadoss-directed Tamil hit Kaththi.
"This will be a fresh script. There were talks of remaking Kaththi in Telugu, but nothing has materialized on that front so far.", the source further added.
Initial reports suggested that NTR will be reprising the role played by Vijay for Kaththi Telugu remake. However, the idea to remake the film has been put aside for now.
Murugadoss and NTR combination was supposed to happen during Stalin days, but somehow did not materialize.
Jr NTR has been trying out different subjects and diverse looks these days and seems to be coming out of his comfort zone, mass flicks.
A film with Gopichand Malineni is a long due since NTR and Gopi combination was in news since ages.
NTR also has another movie in line with Srimanthudu and Mirchi director, Koratala Siva.
Both Dil Raju nad Murugadoss are known for encouraging new talents and their smack for cinema.
