Kanche starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles has been widely appreciated by the critics. Like all the other films of director Krish, Kanche too has been carrying great word of mouth in A centers.
However, the initial response at B and C centers was not so encouraging. Apparently, the holiday season appears to have helped the film in getting decent numbers on its opening day.
The film collected a share of 1.94 Cr on its day 1 in Telugu states alone and has approximately collected $100K on Friday in USA.
Including Karnataka and other parts of India and overseas, Kanche collected a worldwide share of 2.51 Cr. Considering its pre-release buzz, hurried up release and the cast, the numbers are quite welcoming.
