Kanche starring Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles has been widely appreciated by the critics. Like all the other films of director Krish, Kanche too has been carrying great word of mouth in A centers.
However, the initial response at B and C centers was not so
encouraging. Apparently, the holiday season appears to have helped
the film in getting decent numbers on its opening day.
The film collected a share of 1.94 Cr on its day 1 in Telugu
states alone and has approximately collected $100K on Friday in
Including Karnataka and other parts of India and overseas,
Kanche collected a worldwide share of 2.51 Cr. Considering
its pre-release buzz, hurried up release and the cast, the numbers
are quite welcoming.

day 1 release. The film was in fact supposed to release on November

Music of the film was given by Chirantan Bhatt another debutante
for the Telugu films.
Kanche collected a share of 18 L on day 1 in East Godavari.
Director Krish is expected to score his first commercial success
with Kanche. His previous films though were critically acclaimed
they did not collect enough at the box office.
