Mahesh, Allu Arjun, Prabhas & Many In Forbes Celebrity 100 List, Check Out Earnings & Fame Ranks

The famous magazine, Forbes, released the list of top 100 celebrities of India for the year 2015, as we are almost on the verge of entering the new year. Interestingly, many of our Tollywood celebrity made it to the list this time.

Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun adhered the positions 36 and 42, respectively. While the Superstar and Stylish star are the only Telugu celebrities in the Top 50, Prabhas, Rajamouli, Kajal Aggarwal, Shruti Haasan, Ravi Teja and Puri Jagannadh accompanied them by bagging a place in the top 100 list.

The magazine also has given fame ranks and revealed their annual earnings. Forbes explained the method it followed in ranking the stars.

"The 2015 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List rankings are based on two parameters: Estimates of entertainment-related earnings of celebrities and estimates of their fame. The period under consideration for both was October 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015.", read a statement from Forbes.

It also revealed the basis on which they estimated the earnings of our stars. "For each celebrity, we got independent estimates from multiple sources-industry insiders, talent management agencies, film and TV production companies, publishers, music industry professionals, sports consultants, advertising agencies, brand marketers, celebrity managers and other relevant experts."

Apparently, Forbes calculated the fame ranks by tracking the media visibility of celebs across the print, television and they had also tabulated their social media reach. On that note, check out the slides below to further know the positions, fame ranks and earnings of your favorite stars.
