Reports
were
afloat
that
Mahesh
Babu
had
signed
a
₹300
Cr
deal
with
Eros
International,
for
a
contract
of
three
films,
handing
over
the
whole
and
soul
rights
of
the
films
to
the
company
alone.
The
deal
includes
the
actor's
remuneration,
film's
distribution,
satellite
and
remake
rights.
If
the
news
is
to
be
believed,
then
Mahesh
would
be
the
first
hero
in
South
India
to
sign
such
a
massive
deal.
But
it
is
only
worrying
his
fans
rather
than
making
them
happy
about
the
actor's
craze
in
the
market.
Eros,
a
popular
Bollywood
production
company,
ventured
in
to
Telugu
with
Mahesh's
1
Nenokkadine
and
had
to
face
a
severe
blow
with
its
disaster.
Mahesh
Babu
tried
to
compensate
the
loss
by
giving
away
the
rights
of
his
next
film
Aagadu,
but
that
too
bombed
at
the
box
office.
Apparently,
when
Mahesh
handed
over
the
distribution
rights
of
his
latest
blockbuster
Srimanthudu
at
the
last
minute
to
Eros,
the
company
managed
to
rake
in
huge
collections.
However,
the
other
films
produced
by
Eros
in
Telugu
turned
out
to
be
loss
ventures
and
the
corporate
giant
has
quickly
got
the
'iron
leg'
image
among
the
trade
circles
and
fan
groups.
On
that
note,
Eros'
involvement
in
Mahesh's
next
three
films,
has
put
his
fans
in
a
state
of
confusion.
Interestingly,
Mahesh
Babu,
who
usually
succumbs
to
sentiments,
is
going
out
all
his
way
for
Eros.
Looks
like
the
production
company
has
mastered
the
trick
of
alluring
the
Superstar.
