It
is
known
that
two
most
awaited
flicks
of
the
season,
Baahubali
and
Srimanthudu
are
set
to
hit
screens
with
just
a
week
gap.
This
has
become
a
great
burden
on
the
part
of
distributors
considering
the
box
office
risks
involved.
Apparently,
few
industry
biggies
are
looking
into
the
matter
to
bring
both
the
makers
of
the
films
into
mutual
consent
for
the
benefit
of
the
buyers.
According
to
the
sources,
Srimanthudu
might
change
its
release
date
to
July
31
from
July
17
to
accommodate
enough
space
for
Baahubali
to
enter
safe
zone.
Since
it
is
only
a
request
from
the
Baahubali
team,
the
final
call
is
in
the
hands
of
Mahesh
Babu
and
his
team.
Till
now,
the
makers
of
Srimanthudu
have
been
confident
about
its
release
date
and
were
not
showing
any
interest
in
the
postponement.
However,
the
latest
lobbying
that
is
being
done
by
the
industry
big
wigs
might
change
the
minds
of
team
Srimanthudu.
Perhaps
there
is
nothing
wrong
in
taking
a
step
back
for
everyone's
good,
a
source
close
to
the
makers
opined.
In
view
of
the
fact
that,
it
is
not
practically
possible
to
change
Baahubali's
release
date,
the
entire
game
now
belongs
to
Mahesh
Babu,
who
is
also
co-producing
the
film.
Let
us
wait
for
some
more
time
to
see
how
the
story
unfolds.
