Nandamuri Balakrishna's Lion seems to be facing release hiccups quite ahead of its audio release. Balakrishna's Lion was supposed to wind up at a budget of 20-22 Cr. But the budget got extended up to 33 Cr till date, as per the reports.
This huge difference between the actual figure and the estimated figure has brought the makers into muddle. So, the producer of Lion, Rudhrapati Ramana, is completely banking on the pre-release business of the film.
To en-cash the positive vibes around the film and fill in the financial crisis, SLV Cinema is in a hurry to sell the film. However, the pre-release business of the film has been very low as they are quoting sky high prices for the film in many areas.
Lion is directed by a new bee, Satyadev and Trisha is pairing up with Balakrishna for the first time. Radhika Apte, who has shot to fame with her shocking comments on Tollywood, recently, is romancing the Nandamuri scion.
If everything goes well, Lion might hit screens on April 31 and the film is slated to have its audio launch on April 9. Manisharma is scoring tunes after a long gap.
