Reports
were
rife
that
Madhuri
Dixit
is
keen
on
grabbing
an
opportunity
to
be
a
part
of
the
prestigious
second
installment
of
Baahubali.
They
also
informed
that
she
might
play
the
role
of
Anushka's
sister,
a
queen
of
Kunthala
dynasty
in
the
film.
The
reports
further
added
that
Karan
Johar
is
pressurizing
Rajamouli
to
cast
some
of
the
Bollywood
prominent
faces
to
increase
the
craze
of
the
film
in
Hindi
market
and
Madhuri
is
in
talks
for
the
quoted
cameo
role.
However,
Vijayendra
Prasad,
writer
of
the
film,
who
also
happens
to
be
the
father
of
Rajamouli,
trashed
the
reports.
Talking
to
a
leading
daily,
he
said
that
neither
did
they
approach
Madhuri
Dixit
for
a
role
nor
does
such
a
character
exists
in
the
film.
"We
have
no
idea
where
this
came
from.
The
thought
of
casting
her
hasn't
even
entered
our
minds.
It
seems
those
who
write
media
stories
have
more
fertile
imaginations
than
screenwriters," the
72
year
old
writer
quipped.
He
also
informed
that
there
will
be
a
lot
of
drama
in
Baahubali
2
than
there
was
in
the
first
part.
"It
is
going
to
be
far
more
dramatic
than
the
first
part.
Anushka
Shetty's
character
of
the
queen
in
exile
will
take
centre
stage.
The
plot
points
from
the
first
part
will
be
taken
to
a
new
level
so
that
the
audience
doesn't
feel
like
they
are
watching
a
repeat
performance."
