OFFICIAL: Rudhramadevi Release Date Announced

Anushka Shetty's most awaited film, Rudhramadevi is all set to hit screens. The film had its audio launch last month, amidst huge fans galore. Since then its release date is the much talked about news in the film circles.

After all that delay and waiting, the movie will see light on June 26, as per the official reports. "Here's the BIG News! #Rudhramadevi releasing on June 26th in Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam simultaneously! RT & STW!", official handle of the film tweeted.

There was great hype around the film and the first look and teaser too impressed the movie goers. While Allu Arjun is playing a cameo role in the film as Gona Ganna Reddy, Rana Daggubati will be seen as Rudhramadevi's better half, Chalukya Veerabadhra.

As the title suggests, the film is about the warrior queen of Kakatiya dynasty, Rudhramadevi, which is set in Warangal.

Though the audio tracks composed by Ilayaraja and the theatrical trailer did not bring in the expected hype for the film, some big names like Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen and director Gunasekhar, pulling off the film, with great buzz.
