Telugu
heroes,
who
are
often
in
the
forefront
when
it
comes
to
lending
a
helping
hand,
are
maintaing
a
bizarre
silence
on
Chennai
floods.
The
city
is
sinking
with
badly
hit
rains
and
the
actors
and
actress
of
Kollywood
are
doing
their
honest
best
to
help
the
victims.
Stars
like
Rajinikanth,
Kamal
Haasan,
Vikram,
Surya,
Vishal,
Karthi
and
many
other
small
and
big
time
actors
have
donated
money
for
the
CM
relief
fund
while
some
of
the
celebrities
like
Siddharath,
Khusboo
and
singer
Chinmayi,
are
out
on
roads
helping
the
needy
and
serving
the
food
in
the
affected
areas.
In
fact
many
Tamil
heroes,
who
managed
to
build
a
decent
market
in
Telugu,
have
responded
in
the
same
way
when
Vishakapatnam,
located
in
Andhra
Pradesh,
was
hit
by
Hud-Hud
cyclone
last
year.
Apparently,
it
is
pretty
surprising
to
see
our
Telugu
heroes
being
mum
about
the
disaster
taking
place
in
the
neighbouring
state.
Stars
like
Mahesh
Babu
and
Prabhas,
were
not
only
born
in
Chennai,
but
were
also
striving
hard
to
expand
their
market
in
Tamil.
We
can
say
they
are
slightly
succesful
with
their
recent
ventures
Srimanthudu
and
Baahubali,
respectively.
But
it
is
indeed
shocking
that
they
did
not
put
forward
even
a
word
for
Chennai,
while
the
city
is
being
beaten
up
by
the
natural
calamity,
from
last
15
days.
Also,
Chennai
born
actors
like
Ram
Charan
and
Allu
Arjun,
who
would
always
be
the
first
ones
to
react
during
the
tough
times,
did
not
yet
respond
on
the
Chennai
floods.
Maybe
we
are
just
expecting
it
little
early
from
them.
But
it
is
undeniably
an
echoing
silence.
On
that
note,
we
must
really
appreciate
Sampoornesh
Babu
for
being
the
first
from
Telugu
film
fraternity
to
come
forward
and
donate
₹50000
to
Tamilnadu
CM
relief
fund.
Let
us
wait
and
see
who
follows
next
in
order.
Meanwhile,
let
our
prayers
be
with
Chennai.
