Trailer Review: Anushka-Allu Arjun's Rudhramadevi Trailer Disappoints!
The Magnus opus, Rudhramadevi was shot for more than 2 years and the team has finally released it's trailer to the audience, who have been waiting to get a glimpse of the visual wonder. But to their disappointment, Rudhramadevi trailer lacks that magic.
The VFX used in the lavish war sequences appear to be half baked and the quality of computer graphics was not up to the standards, though the way Gunasekhar tried to recreate the affulent Kakatiya Dyanasty catches our attention.
The Graphics and the color correction of the trailer was more of a video-game rather than a big budget Telugu film, opined a critic. The VFX quality in the trailer is compared to its obvious competitor, Baahubali's teasers and was being criticized big time by the movie lovers.
The trailer neither gives an idea about the story line nor it establishes any character. In fact the trailer was solely aimed at to project the grandeur of the film, which in-turn failed. The looks designed by Neeta Lulla for the lead characters, Allu Arjun, Anushka and Rana Daggubati enhanced their roles.
Art by Thota Tharani helped Gunasekhar in portraying the visual extravaganza of the 15th century. The most disappointing factor of the trailer is the background music scored by Ilayaraja. It went wane in creating any impact for the trailer of Rudhramdevi.
Hope Gunasekhar accepts the feedback positively and make necessary corrections in the film to deliver a true visual wonder.
Rudhramadevi is India's first stereoscopic 3D historic film written, directed and produced by Gunasekhar. It is deals with the life story of Queen Rudhramadevi of Kakatiya Dynasty. The story is set in today's Warangal of Telangana State. After Arundathi, Rudhramadevi is one of the prestigious women centric films made on Anushka.
