SAD! No Telugu Release For Vijay's Puli

The much awaited movie of the season, Puli, starring Vijay, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and other starlets, is supposed to release early today with grand premieres amidst fans galore.

However, last minute financial disturbances had led to cancellation of premieres and postponement of early shows. Hero Vijay himself stepped in to resolve the issues, early in the morning and made the release happen.

Shows all over Tamilnadu had started with 10 AM shows. Apparently, everybody thought this would also resolve the issues in Telugu states and other states, where Puli is slated to release.

As a great blow, Telugu release is doubtful now as the shows all over the Telugu states has been cancelled for the day. Looks like SVC Media, who brought the rights of the film are in great trouble.

If things settle down, Puli might release tomorrow or might only see light next week and can say release of Puli for today is ruled out.

This might effect the collections of the film largely and can leave distributors and exhibitors in huge looses since it is a high budgeted film. We have to wait and see how far the film outshines all these obstacles with it's content.
