Kajal Aggarwal has displayed great confidence on her forthcoming release, Brahmotsavam, while talking to an English daily recently. The actress was spotted in a retro look on the sets of the film, which is now creating a great interest on the film's story line.

"I play an NRI girl. And the film is true to Srikanth's (Addala) niche of a family oriented plot. But this film will stand out because it's got a very interesting take on relationships. And the film is largely based on characters and not on leads. It's an ensemble cast (featuring Samantha and Pranitha Subhash) and each character is crucial in this film. The film is going to set a new mark when it comes to how films are presented in Tollywood," Kajal shared about Brahmotsavam and her faith in the director Srikanth Addala.

Apparently, the actress wrapped shooting her part of the schedule for the film yesterday and has shared few pictures from the sets. However, she did not reveal the reason behind her retro look in the film. On the other hand, Kajal will be seen adorning the role of a princess in Pawan Kalyan's Sardaar Gabbar Singh, while she has played a visually challenged lass in her upcoming Hindi release, Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, along with Randeep Hooda.

Going by that latest developments from Kajal's end, it is quite clear that Kajal wants to prove her acting prowess and establish herself on the likes of Anushka and Nithya Menen, who have gone past of mere commercial cinema. Interestingly, Kajal also hinted about her intentions while talking to a leading daily recently. "I'm not going to take up roles from now on, that just need glamor", the actress reportedly said.
