Though Balakrishna is often termed as short-tempered for his impulsive nature, very few people know that he is one of the most coolest stars in the industry. Maybe after watching his recent interviews, many would have now got him right. Thanks to the growing importance of film promotions as we can see stars interacting more with media and people.
Talking in one of the interviews during Dictator promotions, Balakrishna was at his candid best and admitted that he regrets doing some of those 'larger-than-life' roles and over doing a few feats.
If you remember, there is a scene in the film Palanati Brahmanaidu, where train goes back after Balakrishna slaps his thigh. We are sure you must have seen many spoofs and trolls on Balayya regarding many of such scenes, during a point of time.
If you have wondered why Balayya has done such silly acts, he himself has the same question. The actor said that he just went with the flow and believed in his writers and directors. Balayya also opined that he shouldn't have done those.
However, he is happy how the films today are more sensible and close to the reality. Though the host of the show tried to put Balakrishna at ease by trying to convince him that, those feats were not really that absurd, Balayya laughed it off and said it is fine and admitted that those scenes were unnecessary and meaningless.
Kudos to his frankness because very few people of his stature talk about their regrets.
