Day 1 of the much awaited awards night, IIFA Utsavam witnessed a crazy bunch celebrities on the green carpet, who dressed like a dream. The green carpet adorned the bling with the beauties walking in some designers ensembles. The award night honored the talents of Tamil and Malayalam industry on Sunday while, the day 2 will see the felicitation for the talents of Telugu and Kannada.

Rakul Preet Singh
It is Rakul, who got all the attention at IIFA Utsavam on Day 1. The actress, who is basking in the glory of Nannaku Prematho success looked ethereal draped in a saree.

Kamal Haasan attended the event as the guest of honor and the event started with a classical performance. Ennu Ninte Moideen and Premam bagged the most number of awards in Malayalam. At the award ceremony, special tributes were paid to late filmmaker K. Balachander, music composer M.S Vishwanathan and producer T.E Vasudevan. Taapsee, Adah Sharma were seen setting the stage on fire with their sizzling acts.
On Monday, 25 January, the best talents across the Telugu and Kannada industries will be honoured, along with a few rocking performances by stars like Ram Charan, Akhil Akkineni, Tamannaah and others. We hear that Mahesh Babu will take home the best actor award for Srimanthudu, beating Prabhas of Baahubali.
