The usually media-shy Powerstar Pawan Kalyan made a rare appearance at United Kingdom Telugu Association's 6th anniversary celebrations, which took many by a surprise. Adding more to the excitement, he seemed in great spirits at the function and interacted with fans in a friendly manner.
The actor was greeted with a warm welcome by the association members and fans received him with a car rally on the streets of London.
Talking at the event on Saturday, Pawan Kalyan reminded everyone about the importance of art and culture and how they are part of our lives.
Though he was asked to address the crowd before the programme took off, Pawan said that he would only talk after he enjoy the complete event along with all of them and the 'powerstar' chants followed the actor even in UK.
Pawan promised to imbibe the Telugu art and culture in his films and gave a call for the youth to contribute, embrace and encourage arts. He appreciated the NRIs for coming forward to promote the Telugu art and culture.
As a part of his UK tour, Pawan is expected to interact with NRI Janasena activists to discuss the future of the party.
