Lavanya Tripati To Romance Mega Hero Varun Tej

Lavanya Tripati is going slow but steady with her choice of films. After scoring two back-to-back blockbusters like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy and Soggade Chinni Nayana, the dimple beauty has quickly shot up to the list of most sought-after actresses in the tinsel town.

That is not putting the lass on a run though! After signing a sci-fiction opposite Sundeep Kishan, Lavanya is apparently going to pair up with mega hero, Varun Tej, in his next.

"Though she hasn't signed on the dotted line yet, the talks have been on for a while and it's decided that she will be working on the film," shares a source close to the actress.

"She is consciously making an effort not to get typecast. This might be a romantic entertainer but her role has a quirky edge," the source reveals.

The film is being directed by Sreenu Vaitla, and is said to be a romantic entertainer. The director, who is facing a lull on the career front of late, is believed to bounce back with this film, as he is promising to get off the typical comedy entertainers of his style and try something new.

Though the untitled project was supposed to go on floors with hero Ram, for an unknown reason, the actor has been replaced with Varun Tej.
