National Awards: Baahubali Bags Best Special Effects Award

Rajamouli's magnum opus, Baahubali The Beginning bagged two prestigious awards at the 63rd National awards. As we reported earlier, Baahubali has been honored with the best feature film as well as the best special effects award.

"We are elated that #Baahubali has been awarded the Golden Lotus Award, as the Best Feature Film of 2015 at the 63rd National Film Awards :)", read a tweet from Baahubali movie's official twitter handle.

On the other hand, Kanche, directed by Krish, bagged the best regional Telugu film award. It is indeed a proud moment for the Telugu film industry as the two of most acclaimed films of the year, Baahubali and Kanche, got their due at the National Awards.

"So proud to be associated with #Baahubali ...the national award validation for truly the best film of the year! @ssrajamouli", read a tweet from Karan Johar, the Hindi producer of the film.
