Nannaku Prematho is all set to hit screens on 13 January and as the count down has come close to hours, the promotions are in full-swing. However, there is this one interview that is catching up much attention, where NTR and Jagapathi Babu were at their candid best.
Jagapathi Babu, who is known for his plain-spoken nature, opened up a bit more during the interview and we can say he has also brought the best out of NTR. Babu did not hesitate to speak about how he did not like NTR's new look, NTR's clash with Balakrishna and many more things. Read the slides below to get into the details.
Talking about NTR's look in the film, Jagapathi Babu confessed that he did not like it initially and had also heard negative feedback from others. But after seeing the positive responses the look has got from audience, he said to have understood that he is getting old. NTR laughed out loud as Babu stated his opinion and agreed that any drastic change takes time to gain acceptance.
Babu revealed that he once asked NTR about what is the issue between him and Balayya and also advised him to be in good terms with Babai, to which NTR replied saying he is always in good terms with Balayya, but do not really know where the problem is. Jagapathi said that NTR wants everyone and really loves his Babai a lot.
Jagapathi Babu Role
Talking about his role in the film, Babu revealed that he was confused about doing the character as it sounded exactly like the person, whom he would hate to the core in real life. However, he said to have decided to take up the challenge for Sukumar and NTR.
NTR went emotional talking about Devi Sri Prasad's conviction for work and he showered praises for the music direction for actually completing the work, though he lost his father recently. NTR added that he questioned himself if he could do that for anyone if he was in DSP's place.
Jagapathi also had revealed that NTR is a prankster and loves to pull a leg of everyone around him. NTR said to have teased the assistant directors real bad. On a lighter note, he further added that he turned a father to everybody on the sets and tried to save them from NTR's naughtiness.
