KVPG Actress Mehrene To Romance Mega Hero Sai Dharam Tej

Sai Dharam Tej and Mehrene Kaur are likely team up for BVS Ravi's upcoming action drama, which will go on the floors from August.

"The regular shooting will start from August, after Sai completes shooting for Supreme and Thikka. Mehrene, who impressed critics and audience alike in Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha, has been finalised as the leading lady," a source close to the team revealed.

The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. "The project will be bankrolled by a famous personality from Telugu fraternity," the source said. This will be Ravi's second directorial venture after 2011 Telugu actioner Wanted.

Apparently, Sai Dharam Tej is on a signing spree as he has half a dozen of projects in the line up, while two films are gearing up for a release.

Though the actor was supposed to team up with Dil Raju, for a film called Shatamanam Bhavati, in the direction of writer-turned-director Satish Vegesna, Raj Tarun replaced him, since the producer felt Sai Dharam Tej's popularity would be harmful for an experimental project like Shatamanam Bhavati.

Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej might as well sign a project with Gopichand Malineni, in the production of Tagore Madhu. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
