IN PHOTOS: Suriya's 24 Audio Release Highlights

Suriya Sivakumar, who is a household name in the Telugu land, was in Hyderabad yesterday to launch his upcoming movie, 24's audio. His brother Karthi, music director A R Rahman, Samantha, director Vikram graced the occasion while Akhil Akkineni, director Koratala Siva were at the event as the chief guests.

Talking at the audio launch, Samantha expressed her joy over working with such a brilliant team and said that she worked really hard for the film. Suriya thanked the Telugu audience for their unconditional love and he has also expressed his gratefulness for the movie Manam, which made him know about director Vikram.

Suriya spilled the beans about the storyline of Koratala Siva-NTR's Janatha Garage and opined that it is going to be a huge hit for sure. The trailer of 24, which was unveiled at the event has received tremendous response and the audience are spellbound by its brilliance.

Though Vikram and Suriya did not yet reveal much about the concept of the movie, it is to be understood that 24 is laced around the concept of time and scientist Athreya's invention of a time machine. Nithya Menen will be seen in a key role, while Samantha is playing the female lead.

Going by the trailer, Suriya will be seen in three different roles and according to what Samantha revealed at the audio launch, he plays a villain, an innocent boy next door and another shade of a character. Talking at the event, Akhil heaped praises for Suriya and his choice of scripts. He opined that there is much for the younger lot to learn from him.
